NEW YEAR’S SPIRITUAL RENEWAL RETREAT AT KRIPALU |
|
Dec 28, 2008– Jan 1, 2009 (4 nights, Sunday-Thursday)
End the old year and give birth to the new one in a reflective, spiritually nourishing way. Whether you are new to meditation and spiritual practices or a seasoned practitioner, this retreat is designed to allow you to sink deeply into your heart’s knowing, offering the time, space, and loving support to renew your connection to the ever-fresh and present source of divinity that is your birthright.
Together, we will explore meditation, mantra practice, chanting, yogic breathing, self-inquiry, contemplation of scripture and inspired writings, ritual, silence, and satsanga—group discussion and inquiry. On New Year’s Eve, we will participate with other Kripalu guests and staff in a celebration to usher in the New Year with joy. Most evenings, we will have the option to participate in Saptah chanting.
Note Bring a journal and any favorite inspirational writing or scripture; optional: bring a symbol of anything you wish to let go of from the past, a symbol of what you would like to expand in the New Year, and any symbols of divinity that inspire you.
